ICE Group Shows Their Support for Heart & Stroke Foundation

Just a little note to celebrate our success on last years Heart and Stroke Foundation, and what an incredible impact it had! Amount Raised: $16,435.00! Thank you again everyone for your participation!
Although we unfortunately didn’t have one this year, next years will be bigger and better then ever! We hope you all want to be a part of it!
As we reflect on the past year, I wanted to take a moment to share some of the incredible impact we’ve made together through ICE Group’s support of Heart & Stroke ❤ Please feel free to share the incredible accomplishments with your team.
Thanks to passionate fundraisers like you, we’ve seen inspiring stories unfold – from Golf Tournaments and paper heart campaigns to marathon milestones, community events, and many more. Together, we’ve raised important funds that fuel life-saving research, support survivors, and bring us closer to a future free of heart disease and stroke.
Your generosity is creating real change, and we can’t thank you enough.
Here’s how your fundraising is supporting Heart & Stroke initiatives to help save lives in BC:
Cardiac Arrest: AEDs are now mandated for all high schools and soon for elementary and middle schools. Our AED pilot program is expanding, and we’re rolling out targeted public awareness campaigns to save lives across the province. Our goal is to increase cardiac arrest survival rates by improving access to lifesaving tools and education.
Heart Failure: We’re partnering with health organizations to improve access to specialized care and drive policy changes for better outcomes. We’re also pushing for better care and rehabilitation for those living with heart failure and the lasting effects of stroke – ensuring more British Columbians get the support they need to recover and thrive.
Tobacco & Vaping Advocacy: BC continues to lead with the lowest smoking rates in Canada. This year, we’re working with the provincial government to strengthen tobacco control strategies, focus on prevention, and advance smoke-free housing policies to protect more families.
Stroke Rehabilitation: Advocacy continues for increased availability of stroke rehab services, and new coalitions formed to support recovery.
FAST Signs of Stroke: With renewed provincial funding, we’re launching our 11th year of the FAST campaign, reaching more communities and saving more lives. Education saves lives, and with your support, more people will recognize the warning signs of stroke, heart attack, and cardiac arrest – helping them act quickly when every second counts.
