Fundraising for the Heart & Stroke Foundation

Every year teams from across Canada take part in the Big Bike for Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. This annual event raises critical research funds and awareness of heart disease and stroke.

This year’s Big Bike campaign carries a powerful message: When it comes to women’s heart and brain health, it’s #TimeToSeeRed:

• Heart disease and stroke are the #1 cause of premature death for women in Canada
• Heart attack symptoms go unrecognized in 53% of women
• 2/3 of heart disease and stroke clinical research focuses on men
